In February 2019, Rothman Orthopaedics, NueHealth, and MUVE Health announced a strategic national partnership to expand and scale a transformative model of orthopaedic clinical practice and ambulatory surgical care across key U.S. markets

Rothman Orthopaedics — one of the nation’s leading orthopaedic group practices with over 200 physicians across 40 locations and 45 surgical sites — teamed with NueHealth, a value-based ambulatory surgical platform company, and MUVE Health, a developer/operator of total joint and spine centers. Their joint venture builds on successful integration in the Greater Philadelphia region and aims to bring value-based, high-quality orthopaedic care to new markets beyond the tri-state area, including Florida, Texas, and the Midwest.

Under the partnership, the organizations planned to grow MUVE Health total joint and spine centers, enhance technology and clinical platforms, and shift care delivery from traditional fee-for-service toward lower-cost, value-driven models that benefit patients, payors, and employers. Rothman’s leadership emphasized that combining best-in-class clinical practice with ambulatory surgical expertise will help set a new standard in orthopaedic care.
